Cleaning & Tidying, People Skills
We’re looking for warm, friendly individuals who enjoy supporting others and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll need to be a good listener, empathetic, and able to engage with families in a calm, non-judgemental way. A gentle, caring approach is key. Basic tasks like making tea/coffee, keeping the space tidy, and watering plants are part of the role, so a helpful, hands-on attitude is appreciated. No formal experience is needed—just kindness, reliability, and a genuine interest in family wellbeing.
What you’ll gain from this opportunity: 💜 Make a real difference – Your presence and support will offer comfort and reassurance to families during what can be a challenging time. 👂 Develop valuable people skills – Improve your communication, listening, and empathy – all of which are highly transferable to many roles. 🌱 Be part of a nurturing environment – Join a warm, supportive team where kindness, compassion, and connection are at the heart of everything we do. 🫖 Simple gestures with deep impact – Whether it's making a cup of tea or offering a listening ear, you’ll see how small acts of care can mean the world. 🌸 Volunteering with us offers a strong sense of purpose, knowing your time is helping to create a safe, calm space for families to feel heard and supported.
We ask for a minimum commitment of 3 months, with just 1–2 hours per week. Days and times are flexible and can be agreed to suit your availability.
