Varied role in historic Royal Park (Home Park) supporting adults with learning disabilities to learn skills in gardening, arts/crafts, woodwork, and more
This role is based in Home Park, Hampton Court, in a beautiful walled community garden. We work with adults with learning disabilities to help upskill them and give them the opportunity to gain independence. We do this through a variety of activities; gardening, woodwork, arts and crafts, cooking and exercise. We also work with Kingston Adult Education to deliver art and drama classes to our clients. The volunteer roles available at the Stud Nursery are varied and we are looking for anyone who has a keen interest in working alongside adults with learning disabilities to help them get the best out of their time with us.

We are looking for anyone who is passionate about any of the following: - Gardening - Woodwork - Cycling / walking / exercise - Arts and crafts - Cooking Or any other skills that you think would be great to support our clients!
No two days are the same; you will get the enjoyment of being out in a beautiful environment, surrounded by historic Royal Park deer and wildlife, whilst connecting with adults with learning disabilities. We will support you with training and being part of a varied team who are all committed to the clients.
We would like 1 session per week as a minimum. The Stud is open Monday - Friday from 9:30am - 3:30pm but we do not expect everyone is able to work the whole time!
