Cancer Research UK is the world's leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. It also provides information about cancer and runs campaigns aimed at raising awareness and influencing public policy. Cancer Research UK work is almost entirely funded by the public. It raises money through donations, legacies, community fundraising, events, retail and corporate partnerships to provide lifesaving research Over 25,000 people are regular volunteers. Together we are beating cancer. Shine Night Walk London starts at Battersea Park on Saturday 20th September, follows all the main great views that London has to offer and finishes at Evolution Dome in Battersea Park on Sunday 22nd September.
