FiSH is looking for volunteers to assist with the helpline.

Detailed Description

FiSH is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our helpline team, serving as the first point of contact for enquiries and requests from our valued members. Our helpline supports older individuals in Barnes, Mortlake, and East Sheen by assisting with transportation to medical or social appointments, shopping errands, and light household tasks. This includes tasks such as replacing light bulbs, occasional gardening, helping with technology, and even assisting with decluttering. As a helpline volunteer, you will play a key role in matching our wonderful volunteers to these meaningful tasks. You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of older individuals in the community, ensuring they receive the support they need. FiSH offers full support and guidance to all our volunteers through our dedicated team, ensuring a rewarding and fulfilling experience. We are located between Church Road, Barnes and Barnes Green pond. There is very limited parking at the Centre.
