Wellbeing Volunteer - Help run a Chair Yoga Dance Programme! Create a welcoming space by greeting participants, ensuring they're comfortable, and supporting the session. After yoga, serve a healthy snack, encourage conversations, and help tidy up. No experience required—just a friendly attitude and a love for community! It’s a great chance to connect with others while promoting well-being.
Help Run a Chair Yoga Dance Programme! Are you a friendly, welcoming person who loves helping others feel at ease? We need a volunteer to assist in our Chair Yoga Dance sessions! Your role will include: • Greeting participants as they arrive and making them feel welcome. • Ensuring everyone is settled and comfortable for the session. • Helping with light organisation during and after the session (encouraging conversations, tidying up, etc.). • Serving a healthy snack to participants after the session, fostering a friendly and community atmosphere. • …and of course listening to a great playlist and joining in the exercise if you wish. No prior yoga experience necessary! You’ll be supporting the instructor and contributing to a fun and relaxing environment for everyone. It’s a great opportunity to help others, promote well-being, and contribute to a meaningful, community-focused event! The yoga sessions run for four week blocks every Monday morning at St Thomas Aquinas Church in Ham (plenty of parking is available). Hours will be 10.45 to 12.30. We are looking for at least two volunteers to either work together or volunteer on a rota basis.
