Cashier volunteer at Oxfam Dalston

As a Sales Assistant Volunteer you will be at the till, serving customers as the friendly face of your shop. You will help people facing poverty around the world by giving great customer service and making donors, customers, and supporters feel welcome in our shop. We’ll give you ongoing training and support so that you can feel right at home.

Detailed Description

Our shop at Dalston is looking for responsible adults interested in volunteering a few hours per week to help us run the shop smoothly and support our customer service. We are searching for enthusiastic people passionate about second-hand trading, customer service, and ethical shopping. Tasks involved in the role are: serving the till, accepting donations and promoting our gif aid scheme, sorting and pricing donations, keeping the shop floor tidy, and supporting the creation of window displays.

You will contribute to making income to deliver humanitarian aid and support our UK campaigners to beat poverty in the UK.
