GoodGym is no ordinary gym. We are a community of walkers, runners and cyclists who get fitter by doing good; We support community projects with short, fun, physical tasks that benefit local people. Tasks include: - Painting walls for a food bank - Shifting compost for a community garden - Planting trees at a local park We currently have groups based in Penge, Bromley and Mottingham but GoodGym sessions can happen anywhere within the borough. You can sign up as a GoodGymer through the GoodGym website, where you can find out about and sign up to sessions. Additionally, if you like, you can get a DBS check to be able to support older people with social chats or “missions” where you might change an older person’s lightbulb or rearrange furniture for a hospital bed to be moved in.
