No Panic, the national charity providing support for people with anxiety problems, is looking for Services Applicant Interviewers to interview people who apply to volunteer on the No Panic helpline, or for our other services.
No Panic is a national self-help charity, which supports people with a range of anxiety problems. The main service we provide is our helpline, but members can also access recovery services. Services Applicant Interviewers will interview people who apply to volunteer on the No Panic Helpline, or for our other services. Services Applicant Interviewers will be provided with the contact details of people who are to be interviewed. They will make an appointment and will phone the applicant. They will be expected to ask questions of applicants which encourage them to provide thorough answers. Guidance will be provided. After interviewing applicants, the interviewer will decide whether they are successful and inform the person who is responsible for the next stage of the process of their decision. All interviews are conducted over the telephone from the interviewer’s home.

Service applicant interviewers must have good interviewing skills. They must be confident phoning strangers. Services applicant interviewers must also be able to make decisions confidently and quickly. They must have good communication skills.
The enjoyment of talking to people over the phone. The challenge of asking searching questions to assess an applicant's suitability. The ability to work from home. The pleasure of being part of a team.
