Detailed Description

Join the Hoblingwell junior parkrun volunteer team and help create a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment for children aged 4 to 14. As a volunteer, you will assist with various tasks including marshalling, timekeeping, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. Why these skills are required

parkrun events take place every week and everyone is welcome to volunteer, we’d love you to join in! There are plenty of opportunities to try new roles, apply your skills or learn new ones, be with friends and family, meet people and be a part of the parkrun community. You don’t need any experience of parkrun, junior parkrun or of volunteering. There are a range of roles to choose from, and many of them can be combined with walking or running too. You can volunteer alone or team up with someone else, and there are always people on hand if you have any questions.

Time Commitment

You can volunteer on Sundays that suit you and there is no pressure to be there every week. Events every Sunday morning, estimated timings would be 8.30am to 10am. Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee in the Orpington Rugby Football Club’s clubhouse - please come and join us!
