BBB’s Corporate Volunteer will have a passion for engaging and forging ongoing relationships with local and national businesses. You will work alongside the Grants and Fundraising Lead to identify potential donors, develop long-standing relationships and secure important funding and support for the charity. Main Tasks With the support of the Director and other volunteers, you will: • Research potential corporate partners and major donors and identify new opportunities for support • Reach out to organisations for donations and maintain ongoing relationships • Work alongside the Grants and Fundraising Lead to help develop corporate partnership and major gift strategies • Attend corporate events, where necessary, to build relationships with potential supporters • Undertake induction training and follow all BBB guidelines and policies

• Prior experience in corporate fundraising desirable but not essential • Enthusiastic, enjoys engaging with the public, with a positive outlook and willingness to learn • Good communication skills • Organised and driven to succeed • Able to use initiative and work independently • Commitment to BBB’s aims and the longer-term value to the community of supporting parents living in poverty.
