ClearCommunityWeb

Volunteer: Welcomer / Hospitality Assistant Come and join our team at Orpington Methodist Church (Mondays 2pm-4pm)

Detailed Description

Our weekly Digital Drop-Ins provide a friendly space for local residents to get questions answered or problems solved for their laptop, tablet or smart phone. They are also a place to practice in a supported environment and get access to other local learning programmes. Joining our team as a Welcomer/Hospitality Volunteer, you'll be supporting local residents, helping to put them at ease as they arrive at the sessions. You'll provide a friendly welcome, set up the kitchen space, serve light refreshments and tidy up the space afterwards. If you enjoy meeting people, treat others with respect, have patience and understanding and can make tea/coffee, this would be a great volunteering role for you.
