The People Hive
Helping run the arts and crafts gallery shop in Twickenham. Customer service, selling locally made items, caring for stock, using the till, adding to the friendly team. Sensitively working alongside adults with learning disabilities.
The volunteer shop assistant will be volunteering in The People Hive in Twickenham, an award winning charity based in the Richmond Borough. The People Hive is a charity shop with a twist, where we sell local artists handmade goods and in return we take a 30 percent commission that goes back into our charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. The shop assistant will service customers, use a till, keep the shop tidy, clean, promote The People Hive's services, talk and deal with new and existing artists, cash up and lock the shop up at the end of the day.
