Part time Publicity Officer Volunteer required to manage Social Media page & content and email marketing to an approved database.

Detailed Description

● Ongoing development and maintenance of social media calendar, including campaigns to increase reach and followers ● Writing regular posts for our social media platforms, currently Facebook - page and private group ● Researching and creating content ● Scheduling posts via Meta Business Suite ● Approving new group member requests ● Reviewing group rules/description as required ● Monitoring social media, initiating and encouraging conversations and responding appropriately ● Use of Canva templates to create graphics ● Assisting with other social media projects that arise eg new channels and recommending ways forward/trends

● An understanding of how to interact with people on social media ● Design Canva knowledge to create images for social posts ● Strong communication skills, in person/online interviews may be required to create copy for posts ● Knowledge of Parkinson’s/willingness to learn
