Detailed Description

-Providing support with employment, housing, immigration, welfare, health, well being, training, personal and professional development -Provide advice and casework to clients who are experiencing mental health problems such as accessing treatment and care: also, offering this service to friends and family -Ensure smooth delivery of the service and excellent client care. -Continue to develop your knowledge of mental health and welfare benefits to meet the needs of the service -Take on feedback from a variety of stakeholders and contribute to innovative change

Basic IT skills - internet & email

- Capable, calm (tolerant/patient) and thorough - Good organisational skills - Ability to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week - Ability to commit a minimum of three months (ideally longer) - Sense of humour and perspective - Ability to encourage and support children and vulnerable adults - Ability to communicate effectively - Able to work as part of a small diverse team - Ability to maintain confidentiality - A willingness to learn and show initiative - Some roles may require a DBS check which SCH will carry out on your behalf
