Pop Up Top Up CIC is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to support HER NEXT MOVE, a creative careers event for girls aged 12–18 in Croydon. **Duties:** Welcome and register attendees, assist with workshops and creative activities, help with set-up and pack-down, and support event coordination. **Date:** Saturday 21 November 2026 **Time:** 11:30am–2:30pm **Location:** Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon Volunteers must be approachable, organised and willing to follow safeguarding procedur
Pop Up Top Up CIC is looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help deliver HER NEXT MOVE, a creative careers event for girls aged 12–18 in Croydon. The event will introduce young people to creative career pathways, female business owners and new opportunities through hands-on activities, workshops and a panel discussion. Volunteers will help create a welcoming, organised and positive experience for the young people attending. Key responsibilities: • Welcome and register attendees. • Direct young people and guests to the correct areas. • Support the set-up and pack-down of event materials and activity stations. • Help facilitators with creative activities and workshop materials. • Support event flow, timings and general coordination. • Help distribute refreshments and keep shared areas tidy. • Provide general assistance to the event team as needed. • Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety instructions. Who we are looking for: • Friendly, approachable and dependable individuals. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • An interest in supporting young people and community activities. • Willingness to follow instructions and safeguarding procedures. Event details: Saturday 21 November 2026 11:30 am–2:30 pm Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon. Please note: volunteers may be asked to arrive before the event for briefing and set-up, and/or stay afterwards for pack-down. Exact volunteer shift times will be confirmed. All volunteers will receive a briefing on their duties and relevant safeguarding procedures before the event.
