Greener and Cleaner are looking for volunteer Community Gardeners to help maintain our community allotment.
Greener and Cleaner are looking for volunteer Community Gardeners to help maintain our community allotment. TASKS MAY INCLUDE Gardening: planting, pruning, harvesting, regular watering and other manual gardening jobs. Assisting: coordinating the growing schedule with the project manager and help with other general tasks. Sharing skills: helping drop-in visitors by answering questions and sharing tips. Optional help: leading sessions with local people and teaching them how to grow in an eco-friendly way. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Gardening or propagation experience (desirable) Keen to learn and share knowledge about growing fruit and vegetables in an eco-friendly way (desirable). Enjoys working as part of a team (desirable). Comfortable working in a diverse community (essential). ROLE REQUIREMENTS Attend the community garden at least once a month.
