Assistant review and admin team member

Detailed Description

- Work as part of a team with other volunteers providing eg. employment; housing; immigration; welfare; health; wellbeing; training,;personal and professional development advice and support - Offer support in communities that do not usually have access to mental health advice due to language barriers or simply not knowing how the UK system works. - Conduct initial assessments and requirements for those referred to B2W. - A DBS check will be required Remote and/or in person - meets virtually every Saturday 11:30m to 12:30pm

- Capable, calm (tolerant/patient) and thorough - Good organisational skills - Ability to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week - Ability to commit a minimum of three months (ideally longer) - Sense of humour and perspective - Ability to encourage and support children and vulnerable adults - Ability to communicate effectively - Able to work as part of a small diverse team - Ability to maintain confidentiality - A willingness to learn and show initiative - Some roles may require a DBS check which SCH will carry out on your behalf
