The role of Trustee is to oversee the operations of the preschool settings. To ensure accounts and book keeping is kept. To attend committee meetings termly in person or online, to discuss the business operations and address any concerns raised. To support managers in their roles if and when needed. Good communication skills. Some awareness of education preferably early years. Role of the treasurer- Accountancy skills Role of the secretary - Able to use ICT to keep minutes of meetings.
To support a charity Private/voluntary preschool organisation stay in operation. To gain a good understanding of how a charity runs and supports the local community. To gain knowledge of the Early years sector.
