By sharing your expertise as a Complementary Therapist Volunteer, you can have a hugely positive impact on the quality of life for those living with life limiting illness, and for the people caring for them.
Wellbeing Centre offers our community and ward based patients, and their carers, a variety of treatments provided by our Complementary Therapist Volunteers. We aim to empower all to enjoy the best possible quality of life available to them, helping to maintain their independence, mobility and comfort level as far as possible. We welcome volunteers with experience in aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, Reiki, acupuncture, and hypnotherapy, as well as therapists from other disciplines so that we can offer a diverse range of treatments. As a Complementary Therapist Volunteer, you will be sharing your expertise and delivering therapy sessions to the Hospice patients and carers. We are particularly looking for volunteers who have experience in acupuncture. If you’re motivated by the idea of joining a caring community, where your time will make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
