Key Responsibilities Governance and Compliance - Ensure the charity complies with its governing document, charity law, company law, and all other relevant legislation and regulations - Ensure the charity pursues its objects as defined in its governing document - Act in the charity’s best interests at all times Person Specification Essential - Commitment to the charity’s aims and values - Willingness to devote the necessary time and effort - Ability to think strategically and make sound, independent judgements - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Understanding of (or willingness to learn) trustees’ legal duties and responsibilities Particularly Desirable Skills We are especially interested in candidates with experience in: - Human Resources (HR), including staff management, employment policies, and organisational culture - Fundraising, including grant applications, donor engagement, and income diversification
