Volunteer Event Steward

The Windrush Generation Legacy Association (WGLA)

Support the safe and welcoming delivery of the Windrush Heritage Community Family Day. Volunteer Stewards assist with crowd guidance, entry support, safeguarding awareness, and reporting concerns while working under the Event Management and Security teams.

Detailed Description

Volunteer Stewards will support the safe and welcoming delivery of the festival under the supervision of the Event Management and Security teams. Duties include entry support, crowd guidance, safeguarding awareness, signposting to facilities, queue management, monitoring of public areas, and reporting any concerns to supervisors. This is a high-visibility, community-facing role that contributes directly to public safety and the smooth running of the event.
