Youth Work Volunteer
Good Food Matters
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about supporting young people aged 11–17 years. As a Youth Work Volunteer, you will play an active role in our kitchen-based sessions, guiding, encouraging, and inspiring young people as they learn to cook and prepare food. You will also support our arts and crafts activities, helping young people explore creativity through projects such as painting, clay modelling, and other hands‑on crafts.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about supporting young people aged 11–17 years. On Tuesdays, as a Youth Work Volunteer, you will take an active role in our kitchen-based sessions, guiding, encouraging, and inspiring young people as they explore cooking and food preparation. Your support will help them grow in confidence, develop valuable practical skills, and find enjoyment in creating meals for themselves and others. On Thursdays, we run a welcoming session for families and their children. During this time, we offer a mix of cooking activities and Arts and Crafts. The arts and crafts vary each week and can include anything from clay moulding and willow weaving to painting and many other creative projects.
