Norwood JunkAction is a community-led environmental arts project based in South London. We run weekly litter-picks, creative upcycling workshops, public art actions and large-scale community events that transform waste into art, and isolation into connection. We are now looking for a Fundraising & Partnerships Support Lead to help take the project to the next stage.

We run weekly litter-picks, creative upcycling workshops, public art actions and large-scale community events that transform waste into art, and isolation into connection. We are now looking for a Fundraising & Partnerships Support Lead to help take the project to the next stage. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community, environment, social practice, and grassroots culture, with experience or interest in fundraising, development, or cultural partnerships. Key responsibilities: Researching funding opportunities (arts, environment, community, youth, wellbeing) Supporting grant writing and applications Developing partnerships with ethical brands, local businesses and organisations Advising on long-term sustainability strategy Supporting the growth of Norwood JunkAction as a scalable community model This is a flexible, remote-friendly role and can be done from anywhere in the UK. Payment: This role is paid via a percentage or agreed fee based on funding successfully secured. Exact terms to be discussed depending on experience and availability. We are a small, ambitious, values-led organisation, and this is an opportunity to help shape a growing movement from the ground up.

Fundraising & Development Basic understanding of arts, community, environmental or charity funding landscapes (UK) Experience supporting or contributing to at least one successful funding application (Arts Council, Lottery, Trusts & Foundations, Local Authority, etc.) Ability to research funding opportunities and assess eligibility Understanding of budgets, project planning and reporting requirements Writing & Communication Strong written English with the ability to draft clear, persuasive funding proposals Ability to communicate professionally with funders, partners and sponsors Confidence writing emails, applications and short reports Organisation & Reliability Ability to manage deadlines and work independently Good organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to track applications, contacts and outcomes Values & Alignment Strong interest in community-led projects, environmental action and socially engaged art Commitment to ethical funding and partnership models Respect for grassroots organising and volunteer-led structures Digital & Admin Comfortable using Google Docs, email, spreadsheets and online application portals Able to work remotely and communicate clearly online Desirable (but not essential) Existing funder or sector contacts Experience working with community organisations or CICs Knowledge of environmental or sustainability funding Experience with impact reporting and evaluation
Norwood JunkAction is a volunteer-led, community-driven environmental arts project turning waste into art and action into collective pride. This role gives you the chance to help shape the direction of the project, contribute your own ideas, and see real outcomes from what you do. Your work will directly support public events, creative workshops, youth programmes and community actions across South London.
