It can be very intimidating for people to come in and ask for help so we want to make our guests feel at ease. -Supporting people and their families who face food poverty by getting good quality food packages home. We will provide a general induction, training specific to the role as well as ongoing development opportunities. We frequently run free online food allergy and food hygiene courses as well as in-person first aid training.
Contribute to alleviating hunger and food insecurity in the community. Gain experience in organization, communication, and customer service. Build relationships with fellow volunteers and clients. Connect with organizations and individuals involved in community service. Feel fulfilled by contributing to a meaningful cause.
