Detailed Description

Why we want you You can join a skilled and passionate team and help make a difference to the lives of autistic children, young people and their families. You will be instrumental in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people to build their social skills, confidence and self-esteem, whilst having fun and making meaningful friendships. What you will be doing Help set up and clear away the session Support young people in play, social and communication activities Develop and maintain positive relationships with the young people Participate and encourage participation

What skills are required for this role

Organising & Planning, Reading And Writing

Why these skills are required

An understanding of autism would be useful and we do also provide training A willingness to get involved and have fun! A patient, creative, caring and supportive nature

Time Commitment

The club takes place fortnightly on at Saturday during term time There are 2 sessions 10-12:30 for 5 to 10 year olds 1-3.30 for 11 for 11 10 18 year olds
