Join our jolly team of volunteers helping to fight furniture poverty, save furniture from landfill and build a strong community. We are looking for a volunteer/s to apply on our behalf for much needed funding and any other project funding we may need.
Join our jolly team of volunteers helping to fight furniture poverty, save furniture from landfill and build a strong community. We are a small furniture recycling charity making a big impact! We offer a friendly welcome, flexible hours, meaningful varied work - our volunteers are the beating heart of our charity. We have a great team of people of all ages and from all walks of life, bringing different skills, qualities and experiences to our charity. Anyone can shop with us, but we also support people on low incomes who are finding it tough to furnish their homes. We need a fundraiser to help us apply for grants so we can keep doing this important work. This role can be done here on our premises or from home. We will also supply all the necessary documentation and provide one to one support.

This role would really suit someone with a sales background and experience in proposal writing.
People volunteer for many reasons and there are many benefits to volunteering. You'll be part of an amazing team of volunteers, all with different talents and skills, helping us to help those in our community who need support. We can help with travel and lunch expenses and volunteers will also receive 25% off any purchases.
Ideally we would like two volunteers, both able to commit to one day a week - or two mornings/afternoons if that is preferable.
