We are seeking committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees and contribute to the governance, strategy, and long-term sustainability of Nyeusi. As a Trustee, you will help shape the vision and future of the organisation while ensuring that our mission and values remain at the heart of all that we do. This is a remote, voluntary position requiring a commitment of around 3 hours per month, including attendance at bi-weekly board meetings.

As a Trustee, you will help shape the vision and future of the organisation while ensuring that our mission and values remain at the heart of all that we do. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight in line with the charity’s mission. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. Contribute to financial planning, risk management, and effective resource allocation. Support the development and implementation of policies and strategic initiatives. Act as an ambassador for Nyeusi, helping to build relationships and raise awareness. Uphold the values and integrity of the organisation in all activities and decision-making. Qualifications We are particularly interested in candidates who bring experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Governance & Compliance Financial Management or Oversight Strategic Planning & Policy Development Nonprofit Leadership & Operations Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement Additional qualities include: Strong interpersonal and communication skills A deep commitment to the mission and values of Nyeusi Previous board or trustee experience (preferred but not essential)
