The volunteer receptionists at the Ryan Neuro Therapy Centre play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door.
Our volunteer Receptionists greet members and visitors with a friendly face, manage calls and appointments, provide information, and support the smooth running of day-to-day activities. Their presence helps ensure that the Centre feels calm, organised, and supportive. We have 3 roles available - Tuesday 12.15pm to 2.45pm and alternate Thursdays 9.45am to 12.15pm and 12.15pm to 2.45pm (this can either be a split role or from 9.45am to 2.45pm).
Administration
Admin, IT Skills - Good, Customer Service, Verbal Communication
• Reliability – commitment to a regular time-slot each week/fortnight. • Good interpersonal skills, particularly listening. • Ability to work confidentially in a patient, tactful, and sensitive manner. • Computer skills – Microsoft Office and the internet. • Good communication skills both verbal and written. • Ability to work calmly in a hectic environment. • Ability to respond appropriately in challenging situations.

2.5 hours per week or alternate weeks if applying for the Thursday position.
