General trustee who has previous experience in both their career and volunteering of collaborative communication and guidance with relevant skills and expertise to a therapy charity. Ideally direct experience of talking therapies and so able to provide support and guidance within the parameters of a Trustee role. As a small charity with 3 part time staff and 35 volunteers there will be on occasion greater demands on Trustees time and expertise.
To ensure that the organisation complies with its governing document, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulations To ensure that the organisation pursues its objects as defined in its governing document To ensure the organisation applies its resources exclusively in pursuance of its objects To contribute actively to the team of trustees. Giving firm strategic guidance to the organisation, assisting in setting overall policy, defining goals and setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets To monitor and evaluate any safeguarding concerns and ensure that the agreed course of action is upheld. To uphold the good name and values of the organisation. Ensuring that the ethos of space2grieve is maintained in all areas of operation. To review and monitor the effective and efficient administration of the organisation To support and assist in maintaining the financial stability of the organisation. To ensure that all measures are in place to provide good working practises for employees in accordance with the necessary legal requirements
