Support the smooth running of the office by handling phone and email enquiries, assisting with admin tasks, and helping to welcome visitors. This role is ideal for anyone looking to build confidence and gain experience in an office or customer service setting. Key Duties: • Answer incoming phone calls from members of the public. • Log enquiries clearly and respectfully signpost to the right person or team. • Monitor and respond to email enquiries using template responses or guided replies. • Support the Office Manager with filing, data organisation, printing, and other administrative tasks. • Assist with reception duties (e.g. greeting visitors, managing meeting spaces). Administration
Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Customer Service
At least 3-6 months related study or work. Knowledge of the legal system in England and Wales. IT literate and well versed with Microsoft Office and Windows. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with a wide range of people and to liaise with other organisations. Ability to summarise enquiries into plain English and identifying key issues. Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to work in a busy environment with competing demands. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, internet and email. Ability to maintain existing computer-based and manual systems. DESIRABLE SKILLS: Experience of database inputting (ideally with CRM systems like Salesforce). Experience in the voluntary sector and office environment.
