Volunteers will view and critique Body-Worn Video (BWV) footage of stop and search incidents, raise community concerns with the police, and directly challenge officers on behaviours that raise concern. Volunteers will work alongside a small, committed group of peers, supported by experienced coordinators. We are especially keen to recruit people with lived experience of policing, individuals from marginalised backgrounds, and/or those with expertise in police law or data analysis. We also welcome those with abolitionist approaches to policing and will provide a safe, supportive space for volunteers. This is a rolling opportunity with no specific deadline, but we aim to induct new volunteers quarterly.
