Do you love skate boarding? Would you like to share and grow your love of skating, with a dedicated skate space? Would you like to help grow a local community of fellow skate boarding enthusiasts? If so, read on!
Our local community has shown great interest in skateboarding and rollerblading and we want to foster this growing community of skaters. A key element of the Vine Road Park redesign is the inclusion of a pump track for them. We are looking for lead volunteers, with a keen interest and some experience with skating who would like to work to grow a local skating community. We hope the volunteer(s) will organise weekly drop-in skating session inviting local people to come along with their skateboards and scooters to give our temporary ramps a try.

The person or people involved will be part of such a thriving skateboarding community in a wonderful shared outdoor green space - sharing the love of skating with other fellow fans! Barnes Common is a wonderful local charity helping to support and conserve the local environment and you will get to know a great group of people and be part of such a good cause.
