As part of our efforts to enhance our online presence and connect with our community, we are seeking a passionate and creative Content Creator/Social Media Volunteer. Project Description: The Content Creator/Social Media Volunteer will play a crucial role in developing and managing the team’s social media content. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to showcase creativity, gain valuable experience in digital marketing, and be an integral part of the London Jaguars community. Volunteer’s Main Tasks: - Content Creation: Develop engaging multimedia content including graphics, photos, videos, and articles for social media platforms. - Social Media Management: Manage and update the team’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok), including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages. - Writing and Editing: Craft compelling captions, posts, and articles that align with the team’s brand voice and engage our audience. - Photography and Videography: Capture photos and videos during activities, practices, and events to create dynamic content. Who You Will Be Volunteering With: Volunteers will collaborate with other content creators, and staff members of the London Jaguars. This role encourages teamwork and creative input, fostering a supportive and innovative environment. Key Dates or Deadlines: Application Deadline: Rolling Orientation and Training Session: 31/06/2025 Activity Days and Events: Participation in activity days and special events throughout the year to capture live content. This volunteer opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about sports, social media, and digital content creation. Skills: - Content Creation: Proficiency in creating engaging and visually appealing content, including graphics, photos, and videos. - Social Media Management: Experience with managing social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, including scheduling posts and interacting with followers. - Writing Skills: Strong writing skills for crafting compelling captions, posts, and articles that align with the brand voice. - Basic Graphic Design: Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar software. (Desirable) - Photography and Videography: Basic skills in photography and videography, including editing skills to enhance content quality. Abilities: - Creativity: Ability to think creatively and generate innovative content ideas that will engage and grow our audience. - Time Management: Efficient in managing time and meeting deadlines for content creation and posting schedules. Personal Qualities: - Team Player: Strong collaborative spirit, able to work effectively with other volunteers and staff members. - Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure content accuracy and consistency with the brand’s message. - Reliability and Commitment: Dependable and dedicated to consistently producing high-quality content and maintaining an active social media presence. - Positive Attitude: A proactive and positive attitude towards challenges, with a willingness to learn and improve.

3 hours per week. Some of the tasks can be done remotely (from your home at a time that suits you), but if possible you will also visit our activities to take photos and videos. This is during the school holidays: Summer, Easter and Christmas holidays.
