Green Youth Leader

Become a Green Youth Leader and take action on the environmental issues that matter to you — from climate change and fast fashion to protecting green spaces, biodiversity, living sustainable and tackling pollution. You’ll design and run your own eco project or campaign in a local youth centre or community space. Detailed Description

Passionate about the environment? Aged 16 - 21? Become a Green Youth Leader and take action on the environmental issues that matter to you — from climate change and fast fashion to protecting green spaces, biodiversity, living sustainably and tackling pollution. You’ll design and run your own eco project or campaign in a local youth centre or community space. From hands-on training and workshops to meeting staff at the Town Hall this is your chance to build confidence, speak up, and lead change in your community — and for the planet. Whether you're a passionate activist or just getting started, this role is all about your voice, your ideas, your leadership. What You’ll Do: • Design and lead your own green project or campaign • Take part in creative, interactive workshops and training • Shadow youth and environmental staff behind the scenes • Be a youth voice for climate action and sustainability This role is only open to young people aged 16 to 21. Recruitment opening 3rd June 2025. Closing date 31st July

You must be aged 16-21. An interest in youth work/ environmental action.

Time Commitment

You will volunteer for at least 3 hours per week (or more if you have the time!) on Tuesdays from 3pm - 6pm. We expect the programme to run from September for 12 weeks.
