Arts or Heritage Youth Leader

Love being creative? Passionate about history, stories, or art? Aged 16 to 21? This is your chance to take the lead and make your voice heard. As an Arts & Heritage Youth Leader, you’ll create, design, and deliver your own creative project — an exhibition, event, street art, history project, campaign, or anything in between! You’ll work with youth centres, and the town hall to showcase what matters to you and celebrate the people, culture, and history around you. 3 hours per week.

Love being creative? Passionate about history, stories, or art? Aged 16 to 21? This is your chance to take the lead and make your voice heard. As an Arts & Heritage Youth Leader, you’ll create, design, and deliver your own creative project — whether that's an exhibition, event, street art, history project, campaign, or anything in between! You’ll work with youth centres, and the town hall to showcase what matters to you and celebrate the people, culture, and history around you. Whether you’re a budding artist, a future activist, or just curious to try something new — this programme is all about your ideas, your creativity, your leadership. What You’ll Do: • Design and lead your own creative or heritage project • Take part in fun, practical workshops • Shadow youth and arts professionals • Speak up for young people in culture and heritage spaces • Plan events that bring people together Recruitment opening 3rd June 2025. Closing date 31st July.

Time Commitment

You will volunteer for at least 3 hours per week (or more if you have the time!) on Tuesdays from 3pm - 6pm. We expect the programme to run from September for 12 weeks.
