Greenwich + Docklands International Festival (GDIF) is London's leading festival of free outdoor theatre and performing arts. It runs from Friday 22 August to Saturday 6 September 2025. General Festival Volunteers are the smiling face of the festival! Helping out in a Front of House capacity, ensuring that audience members have a wonderful experience at GDIF. Duties involve collecting audience feedback, helping audiences find their way around and collecting donations to support the festival.
Greenwich + Docklands International Festival (GDIF) is London's leading festival of free outdoor theatre and performing arts. Artists from around the globe use the outdoors to offer a glimpse of collective possibility and GDIF would love for you to join them in this mission! The festival runs from Friday 22 August to Saturday 6 September 2025. GDIF is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to play a role in delivering London’s biggest free festival of arts. The only criteria is you must be aged 18 and over, have an interest in the arts, and be keen to represent GDIF this Summer! General Festival Volunteers are the smiling face of the festival! • You must be aged 18 or over • Friendly and reliable people, with an interest in arts • We are looking for volunteer who can give 15 hours of their time (3 or more 4 hour shifts, plus training), or who want to commit to more!
• Connect with the local community and make new friends in the local area • Build communication skills • Work alongside like minded people interested in the arts and meet new people in the industry • Gain events experience and a reference for your CV • A ‘Thank You’ party during the festival
We are looking for people who can give 15 hours of their time (3 shifts of 4 hours plus training) or who want to commit more. This is over the course of the 17 days of the festival (Friday 22 August to Saturday 6 September 2025). There are a variety of shift days and times to suit volunteers’ different schedules so there's plenty of flexibility.
