As an Engagement Volunteer, you will support our mission to amplify the voices of Disabled people by assisting with outreach, events, and communications.
As an Engagement Volunteer, you will support our mission to amplify the voices of Disabled people by assisting with outreach, events, and communications. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you’ll help build connections, promote our work, and ensure that our community is informed, engaged, and represented. Key Responsibilities: • Outreach Support: Help identify and contact local groups, services, and individuals who may benefit from or contribute to our work. • Event Assistance: Assist in the planning and delivery of coproduction events, workshops, and campaigns (both online and in-person). • Social Media & Communications: Help create accessible and engaging content for our social media channels (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), newsletter, and website. • Community Engagement: Support efforts to gather feedback, share stories, and involve Disabled people in shaping our activities.

Skills & Qualities we're looking for: • Passionate about disability rights and social justice. • Friendly, reliable, and a good communicator. • Comfortable using email and social media platforms. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Creative and willing to learn. • Experience with or lived experience of disability is highly valued (but not required).

Minimum 5 hours a week, ideally you would attend the office at least 2 Wednesday’s a month.
