This is a great opportunity to learn about the varied activities of a busy charity and contribute to important work on behalf of Disabled people. It will involve liaising with the different teams in Real, helping with routine office work such as photocopying, data entry, correspondence and dealing with enquiries, along with any other appropriate assistance in relation to the role of administrative support.

You will also give other appropriate assistance in relation to the role of administrative support. What tasks will you be doing? • Dealing with enquiries via email or phone. • Supporting with event organisation and communications. • Helping with routine office work such as photocopying, data entry and general correspondence. Additional Duties • Sorting and organising electronic files and folders. • Helping prepare post. • Checking on stock for supplies required for the office or other activities. Volunteers will be given full training and induction, and get an enhanced DBS check. Travel and subsistence will be reimbursed. You must retain receipts in order to get reimbursed.
Administration

What experience do you need? • Some administrative experience from work, school or elsewhere. • Experience of email, Word and Excel would also be useful. • Numeracy and literacy skills. • The ability to communicate with a wide range of people, including over the phone. • The ability to plan and organise.
Travel and subsistence will be reimbursed. You must retain receipts in order to get reimbursed.
We would like volunteers to help regularly during office hours for at least one day a week. Wednesdays would be preferred, but we can be flexible. There may be an option to help at occasional evening events.
