Digital Asset Project Volunteer

As a Central Support Volunteer on Centrepoint's Digital Asset Project, you will support our Communications and Marketing team with the transition, launch and ongoing administration of our new Digital Asset Management system. You will: • Organise and maintain our paper and electronic filing systems so information can be found with ease. • Keep records up-to-date. • Monitor organisational deadlines. • Maintain and update contacts list. The role is based in Whitechapel or can be done remotely.

Detailed Description

As a Central Support Volunteer on the Digital Asset Project, you will support our Communications and Marketing team with the transition, launch and ongoing administration of our new Digital Asset Management system. This role will support us in a huge step forward in the way we manage our digital assets to promote and highlight the work we do to end youth homelessness by 2037. We have core tasks that we'd like to work on with an amazing and passionate volunteer. These include: • Organise and maintain our paper and electronic filing systems in an effective way so that information can be found with ease. • Keep records up-to-date. • Monitor organisational deadlines. • Maintain and update contacts list. • Other related tasks, such as producing reports and doing mailings. The role can be based at our Whitechapel office - or remotely – it is flexible depending on your preference.

- Good levels of numeracy and literacy - IT competent - able to use Microsoft Office including Microsoft Teams - Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with young people, other volunteers and staff - Ability to remain calm when involved with challenging individuals and situations - Understanding of the issues – practical and emotional – facing young people - Understanding of the importance of teamwork and a strong commitment to being part of a team - Be reliable and have a positive outlook - A commitment to demonstrating Centrepoint’s values.

Time Commitment

We are looking for someone to help for about 5 hours per week within office hours of 9am-5pm, but this is flexible depending on your availability.
