Are you excited about STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering & Maths) and passionate about empowering young women? We are looking for a Support Facilitator to assist in the 3D Her Hero STEM Project. This project is designed to engage and inspire young women through hands-on 3D design and STEM activities. As a Volunteer Workshop Facilitator, you'll have the opportunity to lead impactful sessions on diverse topics that address the unique challenges women and girls face. Your responsibilities will include: · Assist in facilitating 3D design and STEM activities, ensuring participants are fully engaged and supported. · Provide guidance and technical support to young women as they explore 3D design and STEM concepts. · Collaborate with the lead facilitator to create a positive and inspiring learning environment · Creating engaging workshop content, including presentations, interactive activities, and open discussions. · Fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for participants to share and learn from each other's experiences. · Collaborating with our team to align workshop themes with our mission and community needs. · Providing compassionate guidance and support during workshops and addressing participants' questions and concerns.

What skills are required for this role

Verbal Communication, IT Skills - Good, Reading And Writing, Teamwork

Why these skills are required

· A background in STEM, particularly in 3D design or related fields. · Experience working with young people or facilitating educational programs is highly desirable. · Strong communication skills and a passion for empowering young women in STEM. · Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and effective communication. · Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating group discussions. · Empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt to participants' needs. · Prior experience in workshop facilitation, mental health, or related fields is advantageous.
