Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of women and girls? We are seeking dedicated mentors to support and guide young women aged 12-18 as part of our one-to-one mentoring programmes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young women and help them achieve their potential. Your experience and empathy can help empower them to overcome obstacles and thrive. As a Volunteer Mentor, you'll play a pivotal role in providing personalized support and guidance to women and girls Your responsibilities will include: • Establishing a mentoring relationship with individuals seeking guidance. • Offering empathetic listening and understanding in a nonjudgmental manner. • Providing encouragement and sharing your own experiences, if comfortable. • Assisting mentees in setting and achieving mental health-related goals. • Offering resources, tools, and strategies for coping and self-care. • Upholding confidentiality and respecting the autonomy of mentees. • Write brief summaries after each session to document progress and reflect on mentee development. • Be available for potential in-person meetings, depending on circumstances

• Experience working with young people is desirable. • A commitment to supporting and empowering young women. • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on mental health and well-being. • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with good listening skills. • Personal or professional experience related to mental health is beneficial. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships. • Patience and the ability to provide ongoing support and guidance. • Prior experience in mentoring, coaching, or mental health advocacy is a plus but not required.
