Detailed Description

As a Retail Assistant in our charity shop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our store and providing excellent service to our customers. Your main responsibilities will include: *Serving members of the public as a cashier, handling transactions, and offering friendly, helpful service at the till. *Sorting and grading donated stock to ensure items meet our quality standards. *Hanging, sizing, and tagging clothing items for display, ensuring they are presented attractively on the shop floor. *Replenishing and rotating stock regularly to keep the shop well-stocked and inviting for customers. *Pricing and displaying stock in a way that maximises sales and highlights the best items. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a retail environment and wants to make a positive impact in their community. Full training will be provided, and you will be working as part of a supportive and welcoming team.

Time Commitment

We need people every day (except Sunday) from 9-5, for as many days as you can give; 1 day a week, 2 days a month. Ideally, we need people who can commit to supporting us regularly so you become part of the team, but short–term placements are also available.
