Volunteer with The Hygiene Bank Wimbledon
Looking to join a movement working to make social change? Want to be part of a growing community and make new friends? Want flexibility in the hours you volunteer? Volunteer with The Hygiene Bank Wimbledon now and make a real difference in your community! We are a grassroots, people-powered charity and social movement, grounded in community. Our passion stems from the injustice that people may be unable to fully participate in society due to hygiene poverty. What is hygiene poverty? Hygiene Poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene essentials most of us take for granted - for example, toothpaste, deodorant and shampoo. What will I be doing? Our volunteers collect, sort and distribute donated hygiene products to the registered Community Partners they support. Timing is flexible to suit your availability.

We do not ask for any specific skills to become a volunteer, however, we are in need of additional volunteers who have a car and can collect donations from our drop off points across the Borough. What will I get out of volunteering? Volunteering is an empowering, social experience that gives you the opportunity to make a real and tangible difference to people in your local community.
