Volunteer Fundraiser

The Volunteer Fundraiser will play a key role in helping Citizens Advice Richmond strengthen and diversify its income. This role involves supporting the development of a fundraising strategy, identifying funding opportunities, and assisting with grant applications. It is a great opportunity for someone interested in charity fundraising, strategy development, or gaining experience in the non‑profit sector.
What will you do? Work closely with the CEO and Trustees to: - Develop a three‑year fundraising strategy and action plan. - Identify suitable trusts, foundations, and grant‑giving bodies for project funding. - Support the preparation and submission of funding applications. - Collaborate with London Citizens Advice to support joint funding bids where appropriate. - Conduct research on funding trends, opportunities, and best practices. - Help maintain records of applications, deadlines, and reporting requirements.

What do you need to have ? - Strong written communication skills. - Good research and organisational abilities. - An interest in fundraising, charity development, or project work. - Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. - Previous experience in fundraising, bid writing, or project management is helpful but not essential.
