Ignite curiosity and inspire future scientists by volunteering as an Online Science Teacher. Empower learners to explore the wonders of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to teach Science online to children. You will engage learners in exploring Biology, Chemistry, and Physics concepts while fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Responsibilities ● Deliver interactive science lessons that are aligned with the UK curriculum. ● Explain key concepts in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics clearly and engagingly. ● Support learners in developing scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills. ● Provide constructive feedback to encourage progress. Lesson schedule: 1. Year 7, 8, and 9 (Key Stage 3): Sunday, 11:00AM-1:00PM 2. Year 10 and 11 (Key Stage 4): Sunday, 11:00AM-1:00PM You will use lesson plans from the Oak website (www.thenational.academy) and other online sources, and will also receive support from our Director. Class sizes between 1 and 3 people.

Time Commitment

Ideally you will teach the lesson regularly every week. Each lesson is for 2 hours, plus some preparation time. Lesson schedule: 1. Year 7, 8, and 9 (Key Stage 3): Sunday, 11:00AM-1:00PM 2. Year 10 and 11 (Key Stage 4): Sunday, 11:00AM-1:00PM We also need some volunteers to be in our 'volunteer bank' who could be available to teach a lesson at fairly short notice if the regular volunteer is unable to do it.
