Help learners develop essential digital literacy and computing skills by joining CAPA as an Online Volunteer Teacher. Your guidance could empower children and adults to thrive in the digital age. We seek enthusiastic individuals to teach Computing Skills online to children and adults. Your lessons will help learners navigate technology confidently and effectively. You will use lesson plans from the Oak website (www.thenational.academy) and other online sources, and will also receive support from our Director. Responsibilities ● Plan and deliver computing lessons tailored to beginners. ● Teach essential digital skills such as using applications, browsing safely, and creating documents. ● Foster confidence and independence in using technology. ● Monitor learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Lesson schedule: 1. Children: Thursday, 6:00 PM - 7:00P M 2. Adults: Thursday, 7:15 PM -8:15 PM Class sizes between 1 and 3 people.

Time Commitment

Ideally you will teach one or two lesson regularly every week. Lessons are for 1 hour, plus some preparation time. We also need some volunteers to be in our 'volunteer bank' who could be available to teach a class at fairly short notice if the regular volunteer is unable to do it. Lesson schedule: 1. Children: Thursday, 6:00 PM - 7:00P M 2. Adults: Thursday, 7:15 PM -8:15 PM
