Detailed Description

Do you have a skill to share with the local community? Would you like to lead a workshop, series of classes or have an idea for a new project? Yes?! Please include in your application: - details of your idea and if you have ever done it before - what has inspired the idea - what are you hoping to gain from the experience Description of Tasks- Here are a few skills you can share: • Teach an instrument • Knitting/crochet • Spoken word or poetry • Art therapy • Coffee club • Book club • Sports club This role allows you to build your CV and gain experience in delivery/facilitation. Ideally the class should be delivered weekly, and you should commit to delivering 4-6 sessions to allow consistent programming. The volunteer will be supported on how to schedule each class and delivering the class in-person. Where and when? Time & date can be agreed with the centre lead subject to availability
