We are looking for a volunteer to support housing placements for asylum seekers
We are in search of a dedicated and passionate part time volunteer, focusing on a critical area: facilitating the transition of asylum seekers from temporary hotel accommodation to sustainable, independent living.

Admin, Verbal Communication, IT Skills - Good, Initiative/Self Motivation
Someone with prior experience in dealing with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Local Authority Housing, or the Home Office. Your background in these areas will be invaluable in navigating the challenges our clients face. Previous experience supporting asylum seekers would be fantastic.
This is more than just a volunteer opportunity. It's a chance to be part of a community-driven initiative that not only addresses immediate accommodation needs but also works towards creating long-term stability for those who have already faced unimaginable challenges. Your contribution will not only help in resolving critical housing issues but also in shaping a more inclusive and supportive environment for asylum seekers and refugees in Croydon.
Ideally we are looking for 10 hours a week but can be discussed.
