We are looking for a volunteer to support housing placements for asylum seekers
We are looking an experienced housing professional, who has a fairly comprehensive understanding of the complexities of sourcing temporary and permanent housing for refugees and asylum seekers. This role would be ideal for a dedicated and passionate part time volunteer, focusing on a critical area: facilitating the transition of asylum seekers from temporary hotel accommodation to sustainable, independent living. Administration,Advice, information & support,Driving (must have full driving license),Hostels
Admin, IT Skills - Good, Initiative/Self Motivation, Verbal Communication
Someone with prior experience in dealing with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Local Authority Housing, or the Home Office. Your background in these areas will be invaluable in navigating the challenges our clients face. Previous experience supporting asylum seekers would be fantastic.
