General yard work Role
Diamond Riding Centre
We need volunteers to help on our yard with catching in ponies in the morning, grooming, skipping out stalls, filling hay nets, cleaning tack and other general yard duties.
General yard work around the stables and schools at The Diamond Centre. We need volunteers to help on our yard with catching in ponies in the morning, grooming, skipping out stalls, filling hay nets, cleaning tack and other general yard duties. You don't need to have experience with horses as full training will be given but it is a physical job and some degree of mobility will be required. We do ask for a regular commitment from our volunteers, but this can be for as little or as long a time as you like. Some volunteers spend the day with us, some come for an hour. We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 8am until 8:30pm, so we can accommodate the time constraints that most volunteers have. If interested in this role please contact: Claire Agius, admin@diamondcentre.org.uk, 020 8643 7764

Horses have a calming effect, which applies equally to both riders and volunteers. There is a huge satisfaction to be gained from the pleasure from spending time with them, We are a community at The Diamond Centre. We work together as part of a team. We also run social and fund raising activities for our volunteers and the wider community which you can become a part of.
