The holiday season is upon us, and Poplar HARCA is excited to announce our upcoming Christmas Market Event on Thursday 12 December 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity to spread festive cheer, connect with our community, and make a meaningful impact! We’d love for you to get involved—whether it’s helping to set up, supervising activities, or being an extra pair of hands to make the event run smoothly. Time: 1pm-6.30pm.

- To be confident interacting with everyone and enjoy being part of a community event. - This role would suit someone who is happy to get stuck in and learn as they go. - Please note that this is a hands on role which will require you to move around the event, with occasional lifting.
- Opportunity to network with different organisations that attend. - The opportunity to gain experience in event management - We aim to provide a meaningful experience for you as a volunteer. - You will have a full induction followed by the right training and ongoing support. - You will have a named supervisor and there will be opportunities for regular feedback so you can track your progress and work towards meeting your particular goals. - You will be prioritised for any further training we have on offer. - You will receive agreed ‘out of pocket’ travel and food expenses with proof of receipts. - We will provide you with an honest reference regardless of how long you are with us. - We can promise a safe environment without discrimination and a supportive space to be in.
